Two million people use it daily, more than any other blockchain. An on-chain data tool called Token Terminal says the Ronin blockchain has hit a significant turning point. Another big blockchain, Tron, saw 1.8 million DAU, while Solana saw 1.2 million DAU. Ronin has more DAU than those two.
The info from Token Terminal shows how many different addresses manage contracts for the business. This includes people who use the internet to talk to each other and do business. This sudden increase in action shows that Ronin is becoming more powerful in blockchain gaming.
According to the Ronin team’s mid-year review, which came out on July 23, the rise in active users was caused by several important events. One big part of the reason was the huge rise in trade on the Mavis exchange’s non-fungible token (NFT) market. When the Ronin (RON) token was added to the market, Binance users could join the group of gamers.
Gaming Growth And Future Plans For Ronin Blockchain
The team shared some interesting numbers. For example, 12 million people own RON and more than 3 million people have downloaded the Ronin Wallet. More games are being made to make it an even bigger star in blockchain games. It has already been used in fifteen games.
In February 2024, moving one of the most popular and well-designed Web3 games to the Ronin network was a big deal. Ronin also did well in other ways. Every day in June, 1.7 million people played the game. Last year, VIP passes were used over 15 million times.
Ronin has also worked hard to improve its tools. Ronin zkEVM, a zero-knowledge (ZK) Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) layer-2 chain, is said to be coming out on June 18 with a changed Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK). Ronin, who made Sky Mavis, says this will make the network even less centralised, which will help it handle billions of deals in the future.
Even with these changes, Ronin is still growing and becoming more important in blockchain games. The network constantly changes, and new ideas are being made to improve users’ experience and move technologies forward. It will be interesting to see how the Ronin group makes blockchain games in the future.
