Suze Orman, a financial advisor and show host, is positive about Bitcoin. However, she thinks that investing in Bitcoin ETFs is safer.
Orman recently talked to CNBC about the role Bitcoin could play in the future of finance, especially for the next generation of investors. From 2002 to 2016, Orman hosted the famous “Suze Orman Show” on the network.
Bitcoin Held Through ETFs
Orman said that everyone should learn about Bitcoin because younger people are becoming more interested in it. She was excited, but she tempered it by saying she only holds BTC through ETFs because she is worried about security and price fluctuations.
“As younger people make more money and mature, [Bitcoin] will be one of their investments of choice, and that will cause it to go up.”
Orman said, “I don’t think it will ever be a currency or a store of value.” However, he also said that the fact that younger people like it could make it a valuable item in the future.
She stressed how much she liked ETFs and said she wouldn’t want to go through another situation like when FTX went down. Orman also said that he had trouble understanding some parts of BTC , like how to handle a wallet and how funds could be lost if you forget your passcode.
Even with these worries, Orman’s message was clear: “Everyone should definitely be exposed to BTC .” However, she warned investors to be ready for possible losses and told them to only spend what they can afford to lose.
