The Aptos Foundation and the Web3 streaming platform myco have announced a strategic relationship. The goal is to get more people to use Web3 entertainment.
Aptos, a layer-1 blockchain platform known for its open and highly scalable network, is going to connect with myco, which used to be called Mcontent. A joint statement says that this partnership will bring over 13 million users and 3 million active monthly viewers from myco to the Aptos network.
Aptos Strengthens Web3 Presence
Myco will use Aptos to host a range of material, such as documentaries, movies, and live sports, thanks to this partnership. The site also wants to add user-generated content, which should be ready by the end of the year and live on the blockchain.
This partnership makes Aptos’s growing market position even stronger. It comes after Aptos worked with Alibaba Cloud to improve Japan’s Web3 ecosystem.
Aptos and Jambo worked together earlier this year to help the digital economy grow and get more people to use Web3.
There are still only a handful of major businesses in the global streaming market, but Web3 is making significant advances forward with a number of new projects. Blockchain-based platforms like Livepeer, Audius, and Theta Network are already ahead of the curve thanks to their autonomous infrastructure and crypto-based rewards. The partnership between Aptos and myco is an important milestone in this larger shift in the business.
