Elon Musk’s social media site X has removed several pictures of cryptocurrencies, including one named Bitcoin (BTC). These events scare and confuse people who like Bitcoin and other coins. The pictures were deleted on July 25, the first day of the Bitcoin 2024 meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.
Cryptocurrency workers are furious that these emojis were removed from X after more than four years. They say removing these symbols has made crypto talk on the site less useful. These include images for Bitcoin, Cronos (CRO), Binance Coin (BNB), and more.
The first image of Bitcoin was created by Jack Dorsey, the owner of X, in February 2020, at a price of approximately $10,000. Interestingly, both were eliminated simultaneously. Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, will speak at the gathering on July 27.
Elon Musk’s Influence On Bitcoin Prices And Market Sentiment
Emojis could be banned immediately, which could change the price of Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market. On July 18, more people were upset about Musk’s new MAGA (Trump) emoji. It’s too bad it’s not an expression.
Many people are interested in what Elon Musk thinks about cryptocurrencies these days. Some Bitcoin users are still trying to determine if X uses digital assets or if these events show that X has much more going on.
At this point in the meeting, Trump will talk to the group about Bitcoin 2024. People who use Bitcoin are always talking about what these changes mean for the market and how the platform works.
