A top fintech company called Ripple is looking for a flexible business manager to join its team in Tokyo, Japan. Vice President of Ripple Emi Yoshikawa told everyone about the great job opening on May 10.
Yoshikawa says that the best individual should be active and flexible, able to “think on their feet” and easily change their mind. One important condition is that you must agree to live in Tokyo.
Ripple’s strategic goal is to get more businesses in the area to use the XRP Ledger, and this hiring drive fits in with that plan. Notably, the move comes after SBI, Japan’s strongest bank, joined the XRP Ledger validator community.
Ripple’s Impact In Japan
Yoshikawa stressed how important the job is, which involves leading business development efforts aimed at B2B clients in Japan’s fast-paced market. She talked about how candidates could get involved with the growing fields of web3 and cryptocurrencies while learning from and talking to people in the business.
Ripple has been in Japan’s remittances market for a long time, and its partnership with SBI makes this even stronger. This shows how committed the company is to the area. SBI VC Trade, a branch of SBI, now helps keep the XRP Ledger safe and decentralized by validating transactions on the blockchain.
CEO Brad Garlinghouse has praised Japan’s welcoming regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies and has hinted that Ripple’s offices might be moving to Tokyo in the past. Recent projects, such as a partnership with HashKey DX, show that Ripple is still growing in Japan, using the XRP Ledger to help Japanese businesses find new ways to solve problems.
According to data from CoinMarketCap, XRP’s trade value stayed pretty steady at $0.5044 at the time of this report.
