Alchemy has revealed that it will buy Bware Labs, a blockchain infrastructure platform and API services provider based in Romania. This is an important milestone in the company’s plan to grow.
The purchase was announced by the Web3 infrastructure platform on August 29. It emphasized Bware Labs’ impressive growth and its suite of blockchain infrastructure and API services, which will help Alchemy’s product roadmap.
Alchemy Expands Into Europe
Alchemy said that buying Bware Labs makes it easier for the company to expand into Europe, which has strict rules about cryptocurrencies under the MiCA system. Through Bware Labs’ established footprint, the acquisition also gives Alchemy access to Europe’s growing pool of Web3 talent.
Customers of both businesses can expect service to continue as usual after the acquisition. The Blast API and blockchain validator services from Bware will keep running as normal. In the coming months, they will likely be added to Alchemy’s product line.
Alchemy made it clear, though, that it will not take over the INFRA protocol. This is because the Blast staking protocol is still an important part of the Bware environment. The INFRA coin works on the Ethereum, Avalanche, and MultiversX blockchains.
There are 100 million of them in circulation, and over 4.4 million are already used. The team at Bware Labs said they are giving up their role as the main provider to the INFRA protocol.
