A fresh partnership with Alchemy Pay means that Telegram users will soon be able to buy and sell cryptocurrency right inside the messaging app.
This addition is meant to make using crypto easier for Telegram’s massive user base by letting them send and receive crypto without leaving the app.
Alchemy Pay announced the partnership on its X account. It’s part of the company’s general goal to connect traditional banking with the world of cryptocurrencies. For the App, adding crypto transactions to the Telegram app makes it as simple as writing a normal message.
Toncoin Surges Amid Alchemy Partnership
The TON network’s own cryptocurrency, Toncoin, has gone up more than 8% in the last 24 hours, doing better than Bitcoin. Alchemy Pay has had a busy summer. They recently teamed up with Mastercard to use advanced machine learning technology to improve user verification and fight identity theft.
Through the relationship, Alchemy Pay has been able to improve its payment gateway system by making it easier to spot real users and cut down on fraud.
Also, Alchemy Pay has teamed up with Paysafe to reach more people. Now, people in over 130 countries can buy crypto with more than 40 different types of funds. The TON blockchain, which was created by Telegram, has been a solid base for these projects, keeping a growing user base and standing strong in the tough crypto market.
Telegram and its blockchain, TON, have been getting an abundance of attention lately. The founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, was arrested in France earlier this summer on various charges. He has since been freed on police supervision.
